The Ball

OttawaSoftball will be providing a Worth “Hot Dot” as the league ball. The idea behind this ball is high COR (distance), and low compression (hit speeds). It is designed to be safer for infielders and pitchers, but still be hit out of the ballpark!

OttawaSoftball Official Bat Policy

To simplify the bat policy, your bat must meet the following two criteria:

  1. The bat must display AT LEAST one (1) of the three (3) certification markings
    • Certified By Amateur Softball Association

    • USSSA 1.20 BPF

OttawaSoftball will NOT enforce Easton's "VOLUNTARY BAN" on the 2005 Easton line (SCX3 Easton Extended, SCN3 Easton Flex).
